Diamond Innovations 的前身為美商奇異公司超級磨料事業部(GE Superabrasives)， 為工業鑽石及立方氮化硼(CBN)的發明者與創新者。 1955年發明人類第一顆人工合成工業鑽石，1969年發明CBN(Borazon)，隨後又陸續推出聚晶鑽石(Compax PCD)與聚晶立方氮化硼(PCBN)。
